The Nephilim formed twenty years ago after finding Sera in that dark basement. Before this though, Daemon and Marina were best friends and their parents got along. Then their parents were ruthlessly murdered by wanted criminals...And let's just say that both Marina and Daemon both discovered their own powers when the criminals attempted to kill them...
They both traveled Gaia together and soon they met Lucian and Hema though two of them found them.It took them awhile to trust each other about their knowledge and their own powers. So when they found Seraphina, who was half-dead from starvation and illness, in the basement of the burned down house of Gongaga, they managed to work together.
After Sera had gotten better, the four of them discovered that the girl's own parents had mistreated her only for the reason of her strange abilities. Soon the other three told their own stories, some similar to Sera's while some are completely different. After seeing what they had in common (strange powers, outcasted orphans), they formed the Nephilim, agreeing that they used their own powers to protect others and themselves.
After that they preformed various, anonymous deeds, most done with Sera's vision guidance. Though there is the criminal side of them, mostly robberies and thefts.
When this had happened twenty years ago, Daemon was 15 years old and Marina was 14. Lucian then joined at 8 before Hema joined at 10 and Sera was barely 5 at the time. Now they're all grown up and have mastered their unpredictable abilities...
